# Treasury Balance Support

All deposits, minus the deposit fee, go into the Mountain Miner contract balance. This helps ensure USDC is available for claims.

The fees from deposits and claims become part of Altitude's Mountain treasury.

The Mountain treasury is expected to help support the miner contract balance from launch through end game. The goal is to help as many people ROI and profit as possible. If the miner performs well and the benefit to Altitude is clearly positive, support could be increased.

## Why Treasury Support Matters

In many miner-style products, the contract balance is the core limiting factor. If the balance falls too low, claims become harder or impossible.

Mountain Miner is designed to test a more supported model, where treasury inflows and ecosystem activity may be used to help extend the life of the game.

## Transparency

Injections into the contract balance should be announced in the community chat or displayed through a graphic or update inside the UI.

This helps users understand when additional support has been added and how the contract balance is being maintained.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://thealtitudeproject.gitbook.io/docs/mountain-miner/treasury-balance-support.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
